Our first Nicaraguan coffee has landed! Full in body and dedication, this coffee has wowed us. Full of delicate sweetness and acidity, it's a real crowd-pleaser. 

Our flavour notes for this coffee are Caramel, Honeydew Melon, Rose with a descriptor of Velvety.

We roast on Tue & Wed. Your coffee will be roasted within 5 days of purchase, with a shelf life of 6 weeks (optimum serving point of 10-36 days).

Background info:

Finca san Isidru is driven by a hands-on approach and innovation, run by Byron Rodriguez. Byron learned to fix things by doing - as a teenager he would go from farm to farm to repair wetmills and other equipment. His father's farm has grown over the years and to cope with the growth it was Byron's task to build a new wetmill.

The new wetmill on the farm was built from scratch. Every screw and every inch of paint has been done by Byron himself. Only the three depulpers have been bought, and all three are needed for two reasons. First, there is one depulpers specifically calibrated to depulp the larger Maracaturra cherries. Also, the wetmill has a built-in sorting system which sorts by weight, thus, quality. In the end this all adds up to the consistently super clean and high-quality coffee. Most of all, it is a token of the devotion to quality of this farm which shine through the finished product.
